Hi Caroline, how are you? How is life for the Whitworth family at the moment?

“We are very much in the mid pre-Christmas chaos at the moment. Although I am very much a Summer girl I do love the chaos of Christmas and the whole month of December”.

Please tell us about your modelling journey? How did you get into modelling and acting and has it always been a passion for you?

“I started dancing at the age of five which lead me to doing my first fashion show at 15. Photographic and commercial work followed on from that. I feel so lucky that I have been able to do something I love from such a young age

Describe your perfect day with your family!

“we live super close to the beach so my perfect day would be hanging out there, soaking up the sun, paddle boarding and eating ice cream (not all at the same time )”.

Do you have any tips on families who are thinking about getting into modelling? e.g. experience/ headshots/ practice

“Honestly just be the authentic you. Don’t compare yourself to others, there is room in the industry for everybody. The camera doesn’t lie and the best pictures come from genuine emotions so try to relax and have fun”.

How do you find the modeling/acting industry in general and have you seen any major changes over the years? Particularly since covid and everything that came with that period.

“huge changes especially in the family modelling world. Pre-Covid for years I was a fake Mum paired with model kids. Yes, on paper we may of got the picture perfect images but the authentic connection when real family’s shoot together is golden, something you can’t recreate with model set up’s”.

Sometimes on set there is a lot of waiting around and also some intense scenes that require focus and attention, how do you brief the kids/ keep positive energy flowing before and during a shoot do you have any advice for parents?

“ I always go to every shoot armed with toys, quiet activities and tons of snack’s. When the children have a certain markers or actions they have to hit I try to make it into a game for them to keep it fun”.

“authentic connection when real family’s shoot together is golden ”

Having a little girl of my own I know how hard it is to get out of the door on time sometimes! How do you and your partner prepare for a shoot with the added task of looking 'camera ready' + kids ready!?

“Oh gosh I wish I had the perfect answer for this but to be honest I’m still working on it. I am incredibly organised though so everything will be prepped and organised as much as I can to make journey’s and shoots flow as easy as possible”.

“the best pictures come from genuine emotions so try to relax and have fun”

And Finally, What are you most looking forward to in life right now going into 2025?

“Family is everything to me so right now I’m super excited with Christmas coming up. All your loved one’s, great food and wine along with a visit from the big man himself, what more could you wish for”.
