This month we welcome Ashley to the team, a super talented and experienced Stylist, offering a plethora of expertise in her field. Ashley is the first stylist to join us at BEC and we are super excited to have her on board, she has already bagged a job with Voss water, where she was an integral part to this super stylish shoot.
Below is a just a snapshot of some of her work and she joined me for a quick Q&A to introduce herself.
Ashley is a London based freelance fashion stylist whose work includes art direction, editorial, commercial and still-life styling. She cut her teeth at Vogue Australia, before starting her career in earnest in London. She is now Fashion and Photo Editor at 5’ELEVEN” magazine, and has been at the title for 3 years.
Hi Ashley, How are you? How are you feeling about life lately?
Great! I love Autumn in London, crisp sunny days and the start of a new fashion calendar. Everything feels new again.
How do you keep your styling fresh? Any tricks you use to stay creative for each shoot?
Research and staying curious. I look for whatever I find fun, and go in that direction.
What do you think about social media? How does it affect competition in the styling industry?
The poison is in the dose - It can be a great tool, but too much time there isn't good for anyone.

What is on the horizon for Ashley and what are you most excited about for end of 2024/2025?
I have some exciting travel projects coming up. To shoot somewhere new is the most exciting part of the job for me, I can't wait to share them!
